A collection of ambient impressions of the mystery and ancient qualities of the Australian bushland. My father was an avid hiker, skier and map-maker in his youth and recently my brother Darren discovered in a box of his old possessions, a copy of the magazine 'The Melbourne Walker 1950' (the basis of this albums artwork). I was struck by the the titles of the articles mentioned and the layout in general - looked like an album cover. I mentioned the concept to Donald Baldie, long time colleague and wonderful guitarist, and we decided to roll with it...

Magical and timeless all the way through. Favorite track would be The Aubergine of the Sun, except there's that part in the middle of Adrift where you start listening as a human and end up a one-eyed snail scrunching reality up into melting origami puzzles. a
